How to set up the popup cart with recommended products, live search, the floating contact button and admin notifications in the Trust template for OpenCart 3.
Widgets are interactive storefront elements: the popup cart, live search, the contact button, plus notifications in the admin. They are set up on the “Widgets” tab: Octemplates → Trust OCTemplates - template settings.
Popup cart
The popup cart opens after clicking “Buy”: the shopper sees the added product and the total and can go straight to checkout.

| Free shipping from | The amount from which shipping is free. The cart shows how much is left to add. 0 — don’t show. |
| Minimum order amount | If the cart total is lower, the shopper sees a warning. 0 — no limit. |
Recommended products in the cart
A block of products in the popup cart so the shopper adds something else to the order. Products come from three sources — turn on the ones you need:
- related products of the product in the cart — set on the “Links” tab in the product editor;
- items sold together — requires the “Bought together” CRON, see general settings;
- Recommended products — your own list: start typing a product name and pick it from the list.
Also set the block title for each language and the image size.
Contact button
A floating button in the corner of the storefront that opens a menu of contact options. Numbers and names come from “Contacts”; here you only choose what to show.
Turn on the button and the channels you need: Messenger, Viber, Telegram, Teams, WhatsApp, Email, callback and a link to the contact page.
A channel appears in the menu only if its contact is filled in under “Contacts”. Callback works together with the module of the same name.
Live search
Suggestions with products, categories and brands right while typing a query — without going to the search page.
What to search and show

| Search categories and manufacturers | Shows categories and brands in suggestions, with their images. |
| Show categories where products are found | If no category name matches the query, shows the categories of the found products. |
| Display price, model, SKU | Extra product data in suggestions. |
| Search in description and in product tags | Extends search beyond the name. Searching descriptions is slower on large catalogs. |

Admin notifications
A bell in the admin header with notifications. Choose what to be notified about:
- Products information — out-of-stock products and reviews awaiting moderation;
- Order information — orders in processing, completed orders and returns;
- OCTemplates module information — new requests from modules, for example callback requests.
