Order, microdata, CSS and JS
How to set up the text after checkout, Schema.org microdata for Google and add your own CSS and JavaScript in the Trust template for OpenCart 3.
Three template settings tabs that are rarely changed but worth setting up once: the text after checkout, microdata for search engines and your own code. Open Octemplates → Trust OCTemplates - template settings, the “Settings” tab.
Order success page
On the “Success order” tab set what the shopper sees after placing an order. Turn on “Status” — otherwise the standard OpenCart page is shown.

Texts are set separately for registered and unregistered customers, for each language: the page title and the text.
Variables in the text
You can use variables in the text — the template replaces them with real data:
| Variable | Replaced with | For |
|---|---|---|
[order_id] | Order number | Everyone |
[contact_link] | Link to the contact page | Everyone |
[account_link] | Link to the customer account | Registered |
[account_order_link] | Link to the order list | Registered |
[account_download_link] | Link to the downloads page | Registered |
Example text for an unregistered customer:
<p>Thank you! Your order #[order_id] has been received.</p>
<p>Our manager will contact you shortly. Questions? <a href="[contact_link]">Write to us</a>.</p>
Microdata
Schema.org microdata tells Google about your store: name, address, contacts, shipping and returns. This helps show rich search results. Turn on “Enable microdata?” on the “Microdata” tab and fill in the fields.

Check the markup. After saving, open any store page in Google’s Rich Results Test — it shows whether the search engine sees your data without errors.
Your own CSS and JavaScript
On the “Css - JavaScript” tab you can add your own styles and scripts without editing theme files. The code is loaded on every storefront page and stored in the settings, so it survives template updates.

Example: make the product page title larger and hide the “Hit” badge:
.tr-product-title { font-size: 34px; }
.tr-badge--hit { display: none; }
Warning. A JavaScript error can break the storefront — cart, filters, checkout. Test code on a staging copy of the site and clear the template cache after saving.
