Landing Pages
How to add landing pages to categories in the Trust theme for OpenCart 3: link groups in the category editor and how they appear in the mega menu.
Landing pages are quick links under a category in the menu: to filters, selections or separate pages that take the customer straight to what they need. For example, under the "Iphone" category you can show a "Buy new iPhone" group with links to specific models. For SEO it is a handy way to give internal links to important pages.

The setup has two parts: link groups are set in the category editor, and showing them in the menu is enabled in the theme settings.
Step 1. Enable showing in the menu
Open Octemplates → Trust OCTemplates - template settings, the “Settings” → “Menu settings” tab, and turn on the "Landing pages" switch (more about the tab in the Menu article). With the switch off the groups disappear from the menu, while the data in the categories is kept.
Step 2. Add link groups to a category
Open Catalog → Categories, edit a category and go to the "Landing pages" tab.

The data is organised as link groups:
- Group of links — the group name, separate for each language. It is shown above the links (in capitals in the menu), for example "Buy new iPhone".
- Link title — the label of each link, separate for each language.
- Link — the address the link leads to, separate for each language. You can enter a path from the site root, for example
/apple-1/iphone.
The blue "+" button under the links table adds another link to the group, the red "−" next to a link removes it. The blue "+" at the bottom of the form adds a new group, the red "−" to the right of a group removes the whole group. Save the category after changes.
Tip. Fill in titles and addresses for every site language: otherwise in a language with empty fields a link will have no label or address.
Where landing pages are shown
Link groups are shown under the corresponding category in the menu:
- in the mega menu (the dropdown panel under the top row of categories) — as in the screenshot above;
- in the slide-out "Catalog" panel;
- in the mobile menu.
Links appear under the name of the category they were added to. If a category has no groups, nothing extra is shown in the menu.
Landing pages are set for each category separately. Add them only where they are really needed, for example for popular sections, so the menu stays clean.
