Quick order + Buy in 1 click
How to set up ordering without registration in the Trust template for OpenCart 3: the “Quick order” popup, a phone-only “Buy in 1 click” field, form fields, rules, where to show them, anti-spam.
Two ways to place an order without a cart and registration — for customers who don’t want to spend time on a form:
- Quick order — a button opens a window with the product where the customer leaves contacts and orders right away;
- Buy in 1 click — the customer only needs to enter a phone number. The order is created at once, and you call back to confirm the details.
Open Octemplates → Modules → Quick order.
Guest checkout is required. Both methods create an order without an account, so turn on “Guest Checkout” in System → Settings, the “Option” tab. If it is off, the buttons are not shown on the site.
Quick order
The customer clicks the button on a product, sees a window with the photo, price and a form, and places the order as a guest.
Settings are on the “Quick order” tab.
General
- Quick order — shows the button and the order window on product pages.
- New order status — the status the order gets right after it is placed.
- Order email — used as the customer’s email if the Email field is off or the customer left it empty.
Form fields
For the “Name”, “Phone” and “Email” fields choose a mode: “Show and require”, “Show (optional)” or “Hide”. The “Comment” field is simply switched on or off.

Tip. Keep only the phone required, make the name optional and hide the email. The shorter the form, the more customers will complete it.
Order rules
| Setting | What it does |

| Quantity selector | The customer can change the quantity in the window. Off — always the product’s minimum quantity. |
| Check stock | Doesn’t allow ordering more than is in stock. Off — the order is accepted even without stock. |
| Minimum order amount | In the default currency. A smaller amount — the order isn’t placed and the customer sees a message. 0 — no limit. |
Photo and options
- Show photo — the product photo and gallery in the window. Set the width and height; empty — the size comes from the template settings.
- Allowed options — only the selected product options (size, color) are shown in the window. If none are selected, there are no options, even required ones — so for products with options be sure to select the ones you need.
Buy in 1 click
A compact phone number field under the buy button. The order is created right after the click, without extra fields.
- Buy in 1 click — enables the field.
- Order email — the customer enters only a phone, so the order is placed on this email.
Where to show the field

Anti-spam
Forms are protected by a token, a hidden trap field and rate limits by phone and IP. If needed, a captcha is connected in the store settings for the oct_popup_purchase page.
